Of course 2 stones don't a diamond mine make, but 421 diamonds in all in 43kg of kimberlite (about a bucket of rock), and drilled at random is something to get excited about - and I do believe it is the best count so far including the NWT. And they are not all small.

Remember when Aber drilled into their A-154 pipe and got a nice 1.54 carat diamond (see front cover of Abers 1996 Annual report) - you got to start somewhere and I think this latest news from Ashton is of the same category of significance.
