08:24 QCOM Qualcomm consensus estimates remain conservative -- SG Cowen (44.35 )

SG Cowen believes that QCOM remains attractive following its Q4 (Sep) preannouncement last week. While expectations have risen somewhat as a result, the firm believes that Q4 and 2006 consensus ests remain conservative given the broadening lineup of attractive 3G phones and carriers' willingness to subsidize these handsets during the holiday season. Firm reits thesis that 2006 is the inflection point for QCOM and believes that the stock can appreciate 20-30% relative to the market over the next 12 months.
