How so?
Because you don't even bother to check out these people out. Please feel free to Google any of the following:
Ramsey Clark, Brian Becker, ANSWER and the Workers World Party
I googled them and this is what I found:
Bio of Ramsey Clark:
"William Ramsey Clark (born December 18, 1927) served as the 66th United States Attorney General under President Lyndon Johnson. He is the son of Supreme Court Justice Tom C. Clark. He is a recipient of the Gandhi Peace Award.
Born in Dallas, Texas, Clark served in the United States Marine Corps in 1945 and 1946, then earned a B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1949, an M.A. and a J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1950. He was admitted to the Texas bar in 1951, and to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1956. From 1951 to 1961 Clark was an associate and partner in the law firm of Clark, Reed and Clark."
Let me see......he was an AG for the US, son of a SC Justice, a Marine and attorney.
I see nothing seditious in that bio, do you?
ANSWER Coaliation/Brian Becker
"The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition formed on September 14, 2001. It is a coalition of hundreds of organizations and prominent individuals and scores of organizing centers in cities and towns across the country. Its national steering committee represents major national organizations that have campaigned against U.S. intervention in Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Asia, and organizations that have campaigned for civil rights and for social and economic justice for working and poor people inside the United States."
When has campaigning against senseless wars and questionable interventions in the gov'ts of other countries as well as fighting to help the American poor been considered seditious?
The Worker's World Party
"Workers World Party (WWP) is a communist party in the United States founded in 1959 by Sam Marcy. The WWP formed as a split from the Socialist Workers Party in 1958 over a series of long-standing differences (among them, the support of Sam Marcy for Henry Wallace's Progressive Party in 1948, the positive view they held of the Chinese Revolution led by Mao Zedong, and their support for the Soviet intervention in Hungary in 1956).
At its website, the WWP describes itself as a party that has, since its founding, "supported the struggles of all oppressed peoples. It has recognized the right of nations to self-determination, including the nationally oppressed peoples inside the United States. It supports affirmative action as absolutely necessary in the fight for equality. It opposes all forms of racism and religious bigotry."
Initially the WWP was confined to the Buffalo area, where it had constituted the Buffalo and two other smaller branches of the SWP, but expanded in the 1960s. It had a well known youth movement called Youth Against War and Fascism which attracted much support with its campaigning against the Vietnam War."
The WWP supports the poor and is anti war. Its anti fascist and opposes discrimination. What is seditious about that?
Are you attacking these people/organizations because they don't agree with your POV. Are you for discrimination and fascism? If that's the standard for sedition, than more than half the country is seditious at the present time.
I know you GOPers don't like to be challenged but you've got to remember this is a democracy. And lately, there is a growing group of people who don't agree with your POV. I believe they constitute a majority. Maybe its you all that are seditious.
Personally, I don't agree with the positions of a lot of people but I recognize their right to have those positions. |
