I remember the 1994 election when the Republicans were big on campaign finance reform. Hasn't McCain been big on campaign finance reform? I am sure you agree that if Delay broke the law he should be punished? I mean, republicans always remind us that if we just enforce the laws already on the books we don't need to create new ones and it will deal with the criminal element in society. Law and order. Chasing Whitewater was stupid. Chasing Clinton (whom I have no love for) for lying about sex was stupid. This whole thing may end up being stupid. But, the law is the law. Let the system work it out.
