Gary North - Remnant Review
I subscribed to Gary North's remnant review from 87 - 90, his investment advice was not that good and was for those who make much more than I do. Most of his writing was devoted to one big crisis after the other and how you needed to get guns, ammunition, gold coins, freeze dried food, etc.
I also found the same information in a book he wrote in 1983, government by emergency, that says the same things. He even suggested you take your kids out of college or reduce their payments so you could save money for the coming crisis.
Gary also worked with Howard Ruff in the late 70's who also wrote books and newsletters about the coming financial collapse.
I first starting reading Ruff in 79 and later on North, none of their predictions has come to pass, they keep changing the reason for a crisis, but they keep saying the same thing over and over on how to prepare for it.
I stopped reading their stuff because they do not have a clue, they keep saying the sky is going to fall, and there material was a big waste of my money!! |
