| Gus > You used not to be so coy on the Bush-The Mastermind behind 9/11? thread(*) where you've tirelessly expounded the theory that 911 was a government job.
And I still do, and not only on that thread. To examine the facts of a given "terrorist" situation does not mean one has to know what is in the mind of those who committed the atrocity or even who did it? And why they chose that particular site and not another?

I don't know precisely who did 9/11, other than it was an "inside job" -- that's self-evident. Only the US "government" had access to the buildings to place the explosives (or else knowledge that they had been placed), only the government could have called off NORAD, only the government could have prevented access by "unauthorised" investigators to the sites, only the government could have authorised the rapid removal of all the WTC steel and other evidential material, including video tapes and black boxes, only the government could have seen to it that the 9/11 Commission was a whitewash. And only the government could have known with certainty that the people who they said did it were, in fact, those who didn't, and without any investigation. Indeed, and as you know, bin Laden, while he was still alive and under the control of the Taliban, denied having done it. And I'm not even talking about cui bono, because absolutely no benefit from the attack has accrued to Islam or any Islamic organisation. Indeed and as result of it, one can see -- there is no speculation -- the US has installed itself it two Mid East countries, one oil-rich and one oil-strategic, where it was not before, and there is now the opportunity to induce civil war amongst the various Muslim factions, something which we know is near and dear to Israel.
