McCain, what a perfect time for him to step out. He can get the public's attention if he contains costs while the congress runs wild. If he is successful in getting some spending bills cut back he could be the clear winner in the next presidential election. no tax increases , and have NO paid for out of current budgets. Let's see a 10% cut back on all budgets . under bush this may still be increases since he came into office.

i am not a big supporter of McCain but if he can cut spending i would put him up front on the list for next president.
