By the way, Father Bush'e connections were at Yale not at Harvard.

It's, of course, true that father Bush graduated from Yale. But there is no doubt that the connections of a former UN ambassador and RNC chair would serve the son well in his application to Harvard. His Yale grades were unlikely to do the trick all by themselves.
