You know I am right on the bay of pigs and the Cuban missile crisis. You know Nixon would have successfully invaded Cuba.

Actually, those have the weakest arguments. On the Cuban missile crisis, we would have been in the deepest depths possible. We got out of that one because it was handled, extremely adeptly. Backed off the "bomb them into the stone age" crowd. Thanks heavens. Or we wouldn't be doing this now. We would not be.

As for the Cuban invasion, that's hard to call. It was a terribly planned operation. It would have required US troops. And that would have been a mess. Talk about dividing the country at that point.

No, we were much, much better off with Kennedy than Nixon. You were right the first time around.
