Telecom Inter@ctive 97 same news/ more detail: of particular interest: - Swiss PTT/Ascom/Orckit cooperation - Telecom Italia/Orckit seems solid. note that "Orckit's ADSL central office line card is shown in Italtel's ATM-based DSLAM"...interesting...need to sort these relationships out, but believe Italtel is no longer synonomous with Telecom Italia...only 50% owned by Stet (including Telecom Italia) with the other 50% owned by Siemans AG Group... - France Telecom/Orckit are at least on speaking terms...co-operating on a demonstration of ATM to the home... - Fujitsu/Orckit appear to be taking at least some of the show on the road (beyond North America)...
