How would you like it was the Atlanta "Christians" instead of Braves? What if the mascot was a charactature of a Bible fanatic and people waved plastic neon crosses around to "curse" the opposing team? Uhh, since when did a Christian consider it an insult to be called a Christian? I am sure the ACLU would have a problem with it, but not a Christian. For that matter why would an Indian be insulted to be called Brave? It was because of the brave ferocity that we called their warriors Braves, because we were in awe at their fighting ability. In fact most polls of Indians agree that it is an honor for a great baseball team to use that name. But of course the ACLU doesn't care and would rather we call them indescript names that emasculate them.
