Humans are the same the world over and I'm sure there are plenty of Americans who think that the only problem with prisoner abuse in Abu Ghraib and other places is that they're made public from time to time. On top of everything else, I do not think these are individual acts of torture and murder and abuse but are institutionalized now in parts of the military. The military should knock off trying to hide these things but fix itself by going after the entire chain of command up to DummyRummy and Cheney/Bush.
