These MSM types are really clueless about the net Even the groundbreakers of the net media are clueless. I heard an interview with Slate founder Michael Kinsley on the radio a few months ago, commenting on Slate's business model. He had the same attitude about blogs that the MSM has. It's that old print media model that grips their minds - there has to be an editor to do "real" journalism with proper fact checking. They don't understand that the distributed nature of the blogosphere does better fact checking than a whole room full of editors. The market of readers sorts the good from the bad - there are millions of eyeballs doing quality control. Derek
