This is the most attention Afghanistan has received in years. From the British military saying that it needs to withdraw from Iraq so it can prevent civil war in Afghanistan to Clinton saying that Afghanistan simply cannot be lost.

Just how bad has Afghanistan really become? It must be headed towards desperate to get this much attention.
