No, I haven't lived there for 15 years, but I grew up there. I don't really think Texas is more corrupt than, say California, another place I've lived. It's probably more corrupt than Utah, where I live now.

No place in America is as corrupt as Mexico. Corruption IS just part of the system there. Normal, everyday business is routinely corrupt, and expected to be so. If you know how to work it, the corruption can cut through a lot of red tape there and actually work FOR you.
