Don > why tax payers have to pick up the tab to hire holy men in the first place. a) That way the holy men are on your side -- the superstition works for you, not against b) It provides employment to people who otherwise would be unemployable c) It's a way of disseminating propaganda while pretending it's the word of God or Allah or whoever. Clearly, Imam Intikab Habib slipped up on points a) and c) and so he had to be gotten rid of. Probably find he wasn't even a Muslim anyway but he thought it was an easy job and he liked the hours.
