Industrial Hemp is the plant of the future....

...just like it was the plant of the past.

Hemp has been the largest traded commodity for thousands of year. It was once the core of the whole Russian economy. The American farmers were legally bound to grow hemp during the first and second world war. The first car was made to run on diesel especially made from hemp, and the plastic the car was made from, was made from hemp, too. From paint to diesel, to plastic to bricks and woods, you can do anything from hemp.

"Hemp stems are 80 percent hurds (pulp byproduct after the hemp fiber is removed from the plant). Hemp hurds are 77 percent cellulose - a primary chemical feed stock (industrial raw material) used in the production of chemicals, plastics and fibers ... an acre of full-grown hemp plants can provide from 50 to 100 times(edit: some studies say 10 times) the cellulose found in cornstalks, kenaf, or sugar cane."

The Brazilian economy is now paying 50% less than the American economy for the same amount of gasoline because it is growing its own fuel from (mainly) sugar cane.

Do you see the potential for hemp? Maybe you do, maybe you don't. Please visit the following website for more proven facts:

It is a wonderful plant. It was banned in every single industrialized country in the 30's and 40's because of the united states extreme lobbying against cannabis. Every single industrialized country now permits the culture of hemp because they now know that hemp(cannabis sativa with less than 0.3 THC) is not the same as marijuana (cannabis sativa with 3% or more content of THC)

It is impossible to get high on hemp.

Legislation has been introduced in July of 2005 to legalize industrial hemp. The United States are now the biggest importer of raw hemp and by-products. Why should it be banned from growing it?

My suggestion is to help sustain the hemp industry. The largest hemp clothing in the world is called Hemptown. (stock: finance.yahoo.com , www.hemptown.com)

If anyone know of any publicly traded company that grows and promote hemp, it is most likely a very good investment for the long-term traders. The hemp industry only started in the last 5 years in North America and now is the good time to get in.
