Al, Even if what he meant was as you say, he helps perpetuate the notion that blacks are more likely to be criminals...rather than the more refined point, which is that their socio-economic standing is what makes them more likely to commit crimes.

Another "nuance" that you conveniently draw to give yourself the high ground.

Nothing wrong with the notion that blacks are more likely to commit crimes. Statistics support that notion, along with the culture that blacks share amongst themselves. The false assumption made by PC Nazis like yourself is that those who dare state the truth are somehow condemning all blacks to a life of crime. Or that the comments might be construed in such a way, and that would be "insensitive." Puh-lease. One of the biggest problems holding back race relations in this nation is the fact that topics of race have become taboo thanks to the extreme overattention paid to "sensitivity." (Of course, the same PC Nazis don't spare one shred of "sensitivity" toward white trash, red state conservatives, nor do they spare any for those minorities they call "Uncle Tom sellouts.")

So back to Mr. Bennett. He could have made his original point without mentioning race, that's true. But you have some nerve to suggest more "refined points" when your only purpose is one of personal destruction. Of course, to you, it's all about "ideology." Right.
