I checked out Juan Cole on Google and he tends to lean to the left of center which in the eyes of the right makes his information invalid....... The correct information comes from the sources that are used by Westera 2... If you will go to his site, I continue to ..and he does continue with posts all day... you can garner those that are in direct opposition to Juan Cole's ... This is the conundrum of what goes on here on S.I. Of course my posts are ignored on other threads because I too tend to be left of center and would therefore accept what Juan Cole purports to be the case in Iraq. The sad part is... besides this post which is totally pathetic to all of this is that we are no more going to convince the right than they are us.. of how terrible this war is and how we were lied to about WMD ... That is why Sioux's board is so good. We can all commiserate here within the boundaries of being accepted and share in the facts that we can garner from reputable sources which brings me to full circle. I like Juan Cole.... and believe what he says.
