Lindy, I plead guilty to supporting "democracy" in South Africa. Hordes of Africans swarmed into South Africa because of the wealth created by the intelligent farming and industrial cultures of the Europeans. Now they vote to take over the remaining property of those melanin-deficient people who dared to stay in South Africa, instead of fleeing their country of birth as refugees. It will end in tears and mass death. While South African apartheid was not a lot of fun for those on the receiving end, it was better than the apartheid now under development there. Zimbabwe is a lot smaller than South Africa and look at the shambles there. South Africa will be worse. At least Zimbabwe has a relatively well-off South Africa to lean on a little. I guess they will sink together. I also think I thought Rhodesia should be democratized, not realizing that "democracy" Mugabe style [just more apartheid] would be a lot worse than the previous apartheid-style "democracy". Now, in New Zealand, we have apartheid under development, with Maoris being given racist primacy. That process will end in tears and death too. Racists are rampant! Mqurice
