I paid for a year of it in 99 or 2000--once you're on the list you can hardly get away. And I subscribed to Nature for a couple years, so that probably helped too. I get lab equipment catalogs sometimes in the mail, ha! There's so much stuff online for free--nearly all of which is above my level of understanding, that anything I get in the mail is mostly a waste I am afraid to say. I was able to concentrate on a couple of review papers today and I think I finally am starting to see the big picture and where I should poke around. Within a few days I may have something worth posting on the DPI thread.
