<<How do you see mating as random? Most people get together with someone who could be their sibling. On the margins there is mixing but it's a fairly slow and gradual process. >>

That's from one post. Then <Mixing doesn't take that long and people can indeed tell DNA from simply looking at and interacting with another >

Which is it? People slowly mix on the margins, or doesn't take that long?

<How long have caucasians been in New Zealand? Can you walk down the street and tell caucasians from indigenous peoples? >

The first caucasians were arriving 200 years ago, with about two thousand here by the mid 19th century when Maoris [most of the chiefs] and Britain agreed to the Queen's sovereignty and Maoris became British subjects the same as others, though they retained certain land and fisheries rights. There were a few hundred thousand Maoris at the time.

By the end of the 19th century, after the mass immigration of the last 30 years, the caucasians were the majority.

Now, there is something like 15% of people who have some Maori in them and the proportion is rapidly increasing.

Some people you can't tell are part Maori. Others are clearly Maori [especially if they dress up to look the part - some have even taken to full-face tattoos]. I guess about half are more or less the same as others and are indistinguishable without some inspection. There are swarms of other types here, so it's a miscegenated melange of human DNA.

<people can indeed tell DNA from simply looking at and interacting with another. People look for symmetry, good skin, nice breath, etc. as evidence of good genes. No one is out seeking those with obvious genetic problems.>

Getting rid of particular genes? Aren't they awful discriminatory eugenics-loving racists!! Women particularly are making sure those with the wrong DNA are ditched. They reject swarms of lustful males who consider themselves perfectly fine. It's unfair and is surely illegal and unconstitutional.

So you are a eugenics-loving discriminatory Luddite. Charming!
