OMG. You see THAT and you take THAT to be the truth?

Baloney. No one knows what gender differences, even in babies, are nurtured or extinguished by the babies themselves or by their parents and their environments. Heck, people even bristle at the idea of blue rooms and clothing for girl babies and pink for boys.

People put ribbons on little girls' bald heads just to make sure the whole world knows they're girls. Why is that?

When was the last time you saw any parent encourage their little Susie to be a great physicist or scientist or mathematician? How many parents encourage little Susie to be a great mom, a snazzy dresser and a cheerleader?

It's bigoted to see the end products in the world and say they were preordained by genetics. I say bunkum. We don't know if they were or not. Until we do know however it's repressive (which you say is a bad thing) to automatically assume that women are going to be bad at math and science while men are going to be brilliant.

I also think it's bigoted and repressive to assume that men can't be great parents and to assume that a man who stays at home while his wife works is some kind of sissy.
