Croc, that's obviously a typo. Media folks are always confusing things like "million" and "billion". The bike trail I ride cost more than $3.5 million all by itself.

For a more comfortable bike, check out the Cannondale recumbents. I have the "Bent I" model. Very pricy, but I sure like being closer to the ground where I can put my feet down in an emergency. Yesterday I saw a guy in front of me riding a standard bike who wiped out when he hit the brakes on a wet trail to avoid a bull moose bursting out of the woods. Fortunately the only damage was a derailed bike chain, but it could have ruined his day.
