You have to be nuts to think of CSCO as a "cash cow".
For starters they give about as much away in options as they make.

There probably are many upstarts in China that have equally good products for less money.

Finally, research is cheaper in China and India than it is here.
When China needs routers do you think it will buy from CSCO or form a Chinese company?
