Chain Reaction Starting by: petrichgetrich Long-Term Sentiment: Strong Buy 10/03/05 12:27 pm Msg: 202821 of 202824 FAR better late than never:
The short interest (nearly 1,000,000 shares) remains very large, as measured by the days-to-cover ratio – ASSUMING no other buyers. This is a tightly held stock.
If the shorts were intelligent, they would have been covering on a large scale during the past several months. That might have helped them make an orderly and probably profitable exit from their position.
It is clear now there will be -- is -- a host of new buyers and no sellers (at least until the stock reaches $20 or so). In the mad scramble to buy and cover, a vicious short squeeze is going to result.
We patient longs have waited a long time and are not about to take profits until they are huge – which they will be when the squeeze takes hold. In the meantime, we longs have continued gradually to heavy up at bargain prices -- in advance of the inevitable string of dramatic announcements by licensees.
The announcements by licensees that will cause a further upward explosion in the stock price in the very near future are likely to include many of the following:
- Announcement of commercial film production by several more of our many film licensees (Hitachi, Dainippon, Dupont, or Air Products). ALREADY DONE BY ISOCLIMA. - Announcements by many new wholesale and retail end-product licenses. - Announcement by an auto OEM (Daimler Chrysler, VW, Nissan, Honda, Toyota or any other) that it is offering SPD as an option in a production model (visors, windows, windshield, sun roof). - Announcement by Airbus or Boeing (or both) that SPD will be used on their new jumbos. - Inspectech announcement of burgeoning demand for SPD retrofitting on aircraft. - Announcement by Hitachi and others of Gen 2 film that is wider and faster than that initially announced. - Announcement of a major planned marine application (e.g., on a cruise liner). - Announcement by Pilkington, Isoclima, Asahi, Nippon Sheet Glass, GE (for Lexan), or all of them plus others, that they are incorporating SPD in some of their products. - Announcement of cost reductions in Gen 2 film, resulting from volume production and competitive pressures. - Announcement by Dupont or Hitachi that they are offering Generation 3 film. - Announcement by a major window manufacturer (or several) that they have purchased licenses from RFI and plan to start producing SPD windows. - Announcement by Next Day Blinds or similar window treatment company that have been licensed to retrofit windows with SPD. - Announcement that a major architectural project will embody SPD.
Now that the first announcement has occurred, the others (except perhaps for the Gen 3 film announcement) will come in rapid succession.
Shorts will enter the slaughter house, as new buyers start to aggressively accumulate REFR.
SPD will be quickly recognized by the market and the public as THE NEXT BIG THING.
Numerous articles and newsletters will relate the 40+ year saga of SPD invention, development, testing, commercialization, and marketing.
[Much later -- by which time revenues, net earnings, and dividends will be substantial -- these will be followed a biography of Bob Saxe.] * * * Persistent insider buying – and no insider selling – has shown that those who know most about what is happening share the main elements of this prognosis. * * * Any short who regards NONE of these announcements as likely should short some more. Be my guest. I will happily attend your financial funeral.
THE FUN HAS JUST BEGUN !!
