CJ, Many blacks don't know anyone who has much of an education beyond high school, so it is hard to see the value of education. But without an education, it is hard to break out of the cycle of poverty.

True, I've always maintained that the best way to break out of the cycle of poverty is via education. But with the breakdown in the family structure, gang violence out of control, and a "gangsta" culture that pretty much encourages both and more, there will need to be a dramatic shift in the black culture before we see some results.

But I think I've said enough for now. The bottom line is that blacks are more likely to commit crimes. Why? Not because they're somehow genetically predispositioned to do so, but because of many other factors totally controllable by society.
