The Supreme Court has a say in impeachments. Stack the court with cronies and you get off. Once again, you have your facts wrong. The House votes to impeach and prosecutes the case. The Senate acts as the jury. The Chief Justice presides over the trial. You must have been sleeping during the Clinton impeachment. en.wikipedia.org
