I was saying on the Dell thread some time ago that the play was to short Dell and go long HPQ. Same holds true for AMD and INTC. Since I'm mostly a short term trader, ya gotta go with AMD here. The Dellheads have been expounding on how Dell has doubled sales over the past few years, blah, blah, blah, but that stock is just as much of a dog as INTC. How is it that with all of INTC's market power Itanium is a bust, and AMD got the performance lead with it's chips? First INTC 'beats it's chest' about MHZ, then all of a sudden 'performance per watt' is the mantra.... As for backing up the truck, when it hit 13 some time ago I would have been more agreeable <ggg>...

Best regards,
John
