Intelligence testers got around the cultural bias issues in testing decades ago.

Not possible. In the US there are different languages being spoken. Analagous to American English vs. British English. I might contend that if you dropped into various neighborhoods in the US, maybe Harlem, you might have some difficultly understanding what they are saying. That translates to vocabulary.

You can do a lot better on an intelligence test with a "better" vocabulary.
