Based on the burly 2500-series Ram, with its solid front and rear axles and gargantuan ladder-frame chassis, the Ram Power Wagon promises to be the final word in off-road pickups when it rumbles in this fall. Available in regular and four-door Quad Cab body styles, the Power Wagon adds 33-inch-tall BFGood-rich All-Terrain T/A tires on forged aluminum wheels. Dodge's 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 is the only engine offered, producing 345 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque and matched to either a five-speed automatic gearbox or, later, a six-speed manual. Four-wheel drive is, needless to say, standard. Oh, and there's a 12,000-pound Warn winch along for the ride, just in case.
