That looks like the downfall of democracy. The electorate can't detect intelligence in somebody more than half as stupid as they are according to your theory.

Those who think landing on the moon and measuring intelligence are impossible will just have to do something other than land on the moon or measure intelligence.

Nature seems to be perfectly capable of measuring intelligence. The unintelligent are long-dead. Nature doesn't even require intelligence to do it. Unless you think that falling rocks, flooding tsunamis and exploding volcanoes are intelligent or that tigers, wolves and mosquitoes are intelligent.

The proof that nature measures intelligence is that intelligence exists and it has been selected by escaping disaster where the unintelligent did not.

I suspect women are capable of measuring intelligence too, even without written tests, and they have been driving intelligence for millennia by selecting males with smarts.

Despite being immeasurable, there is plenty of it around, being rewarded for being intelligent. <in theory, you could be right about intelligence being measurable, but in practice we are far from it.>
