Interesting article and idea. I hope the idea of wearable computers catches on. It will lay the groundwork necessary for a portion of the future demand for VRD.

At Xybernaut's website you can learn that the display they reference in the above press release is a monochrome 1" diagonal AMLCD. i.e. it is not a form of virtual retinal display. I'm not sure who manufactures it for them, but, perhaps, the guys at the Flat Panel Displays Forum know something about it.

The specs of the display follow:
