IQ testing doesn't really measure intelligence, it primarily measures what has been learned, with something implicit about intelligence based on that knowledge. If you live in a social unit [area] where the vocabulary amounts to 100 words vs. an area where the vocabulary 1,000 words. Someone is going to come up short on an IQ test. There are words/phrases used in SE DC that I have no idea what they mean. I might accept as a possibility that some of the kids in SE DC have come up with some very creative ways of making crack cocaine. It's not likely to come through on an IQ test. There are just too many variable and subtle cultural issues just in the US. Is there a separate IQ test for the Amish? jttmab
