Is Gale Norton my daughter? I ask this in all seriousness and may have to take a paternity test. About 10 years ago, my real daughter, who was then 16, called to tell me she had ran our van into the back of a parked truck. After making sure she was ok I asked how the van was. She replied " it has some damage but I think I can drive it home" . I told her to wait there until I arrived. When I got to the scene of the accident the police and tow truck were already there. The van certainly was damaged -- in fact, it was a total loss and we never drove it again. Today, Gale Norton told a tale worthy of that 16 year old. Only one rig lost and the rest only "damaged". Platforms "damaged", pipelines "damaged", processing "damaged", equipment "damaged" refineries "damaged" , loading facilities "damaged"--let's just say entire infrastructure "damaged". But it is all ok , and Gale Norton, like my daughter a decade ago, wonders if she can drive it home. --Frank
