On Topic: Martin Zweig's Tech Analysis screens One must pay for it but then it may the most sophisticated available. Zweig's Aug/97 OTC Performance Ratings Report ranks SVGI a 9, placing it in the bottom 5% of stocks covered (virtually all US listed stocks). He cites below par results - 3rd quarter sales down 3%, earnings down 65%. For 9 months ended June 30, sales down 14%, earnings down 113%. The P/E of 216 (basis $32.50) implying expectations not supported by performance now. Thirteen analysts cover the company (I don't know how many are touts). Sixty percent institutional ownership (imagine them all trying to get out the door at the same time). Marty's recommendation; sell, or sell short.
