The last time America had this level of income inequality was in '29!

And from that NY Times article, only the top 1% is keeping up with measured inflation in '03:

"For the bottom 99 percent of taxpayers, income rose by slightly less than 2 percent, which was below the inflation rate of 2.3 percent."
