But why wouldn't Israel want US bases? It is not about why Israel doesn't want US bases in Israel.It is about the US not wanting bases in Israel.The American people are fed up with 4-5 billion dollars of their tax money going to support israel every year as it is without spending more on bases to protect them.The American government has to be careful that the people don't make a connection about being in Iraq to protect Israel.
