The objection from the right seems to be based on her lack of distinguishing constitutional background. Pundits claim there are 10,000 others just as qualified, and hundreds eminently more qualified. My problem is that it appears the president is just settling for her, rather than appointing someone he'd have to fight for. He promised a Scalia and gave us Miers.
