Steve S.: Re: GTE, least we not forget, Telechoice on WSTL's meeting:

Flynn Nogueira at GTE said that GTE is "very excited about ADSL."
"The market is here and the market will embrace ADSL," said Nogueira. "Westell is a key player in our trials, and the Microsoft trial is going very well. GTE is working hard to be in the market by the 4th quarter of this year."

We also have Cowen and Soundview mentioning GTE as going with WSTL.

Seems to be quite a bit of scuttlebutt indicating a GTE & WSTL marriage. I fell pretty confident that this has probably already happened behind the scenes for all intents and purposes. Final logistics and time/action schedules are probably now being drafted.

Tack on 20mm GTE lines to 40mm BA/NYNEX lines, along with govt lines, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, UUNET, Global Village, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc........, you're talking about a substantial amount of contract revenue already in the bank. You're talking about seeing a quick movement to breakeven profitability and then accelerating growth going from there.

Good Luck To Each And All
