Is that your suggestion? A '3rd world women’s movement'? I'm fine with that (sure couldn't hurt... 'course there already ARE 'third world women's movements', have been for quite a while now)... but it's not really an actionable suggestion for the US, 'ya know. I was hoping for more suggestions about how to SPEED UP the political transformation in the Middle East, indeed, throughout all of Islam. I'm more of a mind that having the fundamentalist radicals on both sides (Sunni and Shi'a) fight EACH OTHER (with neither side winning anything... and ultimately discrediting the radicals and Theocrats on both sides... hopefully accelerating the collapse of their Autocratic governments) might be a useful strategy to pursue in common with the West's 'standing up for Democracy and Human Rights' in general....
