Just look how the AP reports this story:

"WASHINGTON -- Two days after he was placed on probation last month for taking classified documents, former national security adviser Sandy Berger was accused of reckless driving in Virginia by police who said he was traveling 88 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone."

If Sandy Berger was Republican, this is how it would be reported:

"WASHINGTON -- Only two days after he was sentenced to two years probation for stealing and destroying classified terrorism documents from the top secret vaults of the National Archives, former Republican national security adviser Sandy Berger, who pleaded guilty of all charges after being nabbed in a federal sting operation, was arrested for speeding and driving recklessly in Virginia by police who said he was traveling almost twice the 55 mph speed limit. DUI charges had not been filed as of press time."
