In the wealthiest country in the world (for now) do we let the least among us fall into destitution? What did Jesus say? re: It doesn't matter whether the amount of welfare is less than minimum wage, because if given the chance, many would choose not working for half as much over busting their chops even for a larger payback. No doubt, there are a few of those. Not "many" as a percent. You have a much lower view of your fellow man than I do. Welfare is "chicken change" in this country. John
