If I have figured out how to pick your pocket by helping you with your bags instead of holding a gun to your head and demanding your wallet (and save myself a lot of headache), am I a more decent and loving person?

I understand what you are trying to tell me. You can make up all kinds of hypotheticals to prove your point. I have no doubt you can come up with many.

What you don't understand is this:

The race may not always go to the swift, nor the battle to the strong - but that is the way you bet.

Not everyone with an high IQ utilize what they have. A lot of high IQ types do stupid things. A lot of low IQ types do an awful lot with what they have.

But high IQ types are much more likely to be able to correlate things.

They can correlate that being good to people, being loving, being decent - has a higher chance of getting good returns than being a schmuck.

A lot of high IQ types can correlate that schmucks often do not get much out of life. Schmucks are often losers in life. Of course there are exceptions - glaring exceptions. But its all about doing the math. The high IQ types are more likely to be good at math. They are more likely to be able to figure out that being kind, decent, and loving yields better results in life.
