"I don't know how you legislate a flatter compensation curve." Limiting the number of board of directors one can be a member of would help. In addition, disallowing participating on a board which has one or more members on your BOD would help too. There are way too many CEOs who determine each others compensation. We should be surprised that their salaries seem to have no bounds and few are really held accountable by their BODs.
