Occasionally I stay with a futures trade longer than 15 or 20 min, but I don't leave my screen. Many trades, as you've noted, are only minutes, some less than a min!

One of the hardest things to do is stay with a trade that one has just entered that is showing a small positive gain but not moving solidly in the desired direction. After the gains get to a certain significant level, there's more to gamble with ... Ha!

I sometimes just enter with a single click and bypass the IB (T)ransmit stroke.
