It sets an example for other regimes. Kaddafi said the overthrow of Saddam contributed to his decision to allow US inspectors into his country and remove his WMD program materials - they were transported to Oak Ridge TN for destruction.

I also don't believe the Islamo-fascists we're fighting in Iraq would be benign toward us if we had left Saddam alone - the record shows they were activelyi mounting terror attacks against years before the Iraq war.

Didn't help London, did it?

Do you think Britain should have pursued accomodation with the Nazis? After all war caused London to be bombed.
