By the way, here's a quote from Novell's fact sheet on the project in San Jose:

"Novell estimates construction costs on the five buildings and adjacent facilities at about $150 million. These costs are off-the-balance-sheet and do not impact the company's cash or earnings."

Where did the rumor about $300 million come from?
