"how can we get the very people who can make it happen do the right thing and make it happen?" Pat, I sympathize and agree with you on all counts. Well said. We still hold the power to vote. I remember a feeling among Americans when they really believed Ross Perot was sincere. The grassroots effort was enormous. If Trump ran on an independent ticket, I think he would get similar support. Approval ratings for our president are at an all time low of about 39. But this one is different. People are losing faith in government - regardless of party in power. That part is critical. The time is right for an independent with brains, business acumen and a heart for the people. I like how Trump scored a deal with Dubai's latest jewel. He could be the one. . . if people could be convinced of his sincerity. Sincerity is key on an independent ticket. And nothing would get this country going more than an independent win. It would set Washington on its ears and tell the cronies. . and sons of cronies. . . and grandsons of cronies. . .just what we think of them. Rande Is
