I'm not pretending anything. I don't KNOW what Saddam knew- but I do know his government was a shambles, and his country was falling apart. It's not embarrassing at all for me to believe that- since I have all kinds of evidence that Iraq was falling apart- I bet even you have seen that evidence. I think his police state WAS inefficient. I've seen nothing to suggest it worked well- if you have, please present that evidence. He was constantly dealing with insurrections, and usually he didn't even kill the right people when they occurred- he just went in and wiped out villages (as we are finding, that's not the best method of dealing with insurgents).

I have not seen reference to the documents you mention about Yasin, and when I click on your URL I get "document not found" which makes me think you are a bit incompetent too, just like Saddam I guess. I don't insist Saddam had no idea- I'm simply waiting to see your evidence- I realize you wouldn't be able to understand that, but that's all it is- a wait and see attitude. The "URL not found" isn't the best evidence- just to spell it out for you.
